This year I attended a course on "art history", you know one of those courses of "free time".

It 'been a year since we met nice and in-depth knowledge of artists of the period between the 1800th in 1900.

Throughout the year we visited three museums: the first at Mantua, at the Mantegna exhibition at the Palazzo Ducale, the second in Treviso, where we found several artists, including "Manet, Corot, Monet, Renoir, Gauguin, the third visit we did today in Como. A

Como at the Villa Olmo artists have found part of the Impressionists, Symbolists and avant-garde.

There were many works by Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, Lautrec, Sisley, Corot, Chagall, Redon, Mondrian,Degas ,Pissarro ,Cèzanne ed altri ancora.

E' stata una giornata bella, in quanto ci ha dato modo di vedere quanto erano bravi questi artisti. La cosa che fa pensare è quello di vedere qualcosa che è stato fatto in un periodo così lontano da noi , che si è mantenuto nel tempo e fa godere a distanza di tanti anni di opere di cosi' tanto valore.

Mentre eravamo a Como siamo andati a visitare il Chiostro di S.Abbondio.
Questo Chiostro è stato da poco recuperato in quanto diventerà sede della Facoltà di Giurisprudenza dell'Università degli studi dell'Insubria.

Alla fine della giornata mentre tornavamo at home we were tired but satisfied!
