Si è svolta il 15 ottobre scorso nel Liceo "A. Gatto" di Agropoli l'elezione dei consigli di classe e della Consulta provinciale, che ha portato all'elezione, per il massimo organo di rappresentanza studentesca, dello scrivente David De Concilio per il classico, primo eletto con 386 voti, e, per lo scientifico, della diciassettenne Maria Grazia Cantalupo .
E ora passiamo ai ringraziamenti...

Ce l’abbiamo fatta. Grazie a tanti ragazzi e ragazze che ci hanno creduto, un risultato probabile è diventato una vittoria numerica importante. È per me una grande soddisfazione, infatti, essere il primo eletto alla Consulta provinciale degli studenti con 386 preferenze, un’affermazione forte non soltanto al classico, ma che coinvolge in maniera sostanziale anche il liceo scientifico.
Non è certo un risultato risibile, innanzitutto per la sua valenza temporale. Da quest’anno, difatti, il mandato in Consulta sarà biennale, il che mi consente, restando in carica per l’a.s. 2008-09, di poter aspirare a realizzare un progetto politico di più ampio respiro. Le funzioni del rappresentante alla CPS nella propria scuola non rimarranno più quelle di una spalla o di un semplice spettatore, subordinate a quelle dei rappresentanti d’istituto, ma i rapporti con questi ultimi saranno da pari a pari. Discorso valido anche in Consulta, dove mi impegnerò affinché quest’anno il nostro liceo ottenga un vice-presidente, incidendo così su tutte le leve provinciali della student representation.
